Client Advocates provide feedback on our offerings and partner with prospective clients to provide insight on the impact switching to athenahealth can have on their business. We’ve built a dynamic community with four distinct advocacy programs that span all market segments, medical specialties, and geographic regions.

National Showcase Client Program
Organizations and practices that join this program have had positive experiences with our solutions and are eager to share their stories with peers considering switching to our services. This can include hosting in-office visits and diving into day-to-day workflows with prospective clients. This program’s benefits can include the chance to showcase your results to a broad audience of peers and other organizations and the chance to network with other Client Advocates.
Champion Advocate Program
We’re looking for athenaNet superusers with a thorough grasp of best practices to join our Champion Advocate Program. These advocates are able to share their athenahealth expertise and can explain the benefits of using specific workflows while connecting it to achieving an organization’s larger goals. This program’s benefits include access to exclusive content and learning opportunities and the ability to influence product roadmaps.
Physician Maven Program
Our PMP is looking for physicians who use best practice workflows to share a behind-the-scenes look at our services with prospective physicians. This can include showcasing clinical workflows, demoing athenaClinicals, and appearing at trade shows. Physician Mavens gain exposure for their organization and results, get access to training and consulting services, and influence product roadmaps.
Executive Advocate Program
This program is for C-suite leaders of enterprise-level practices and health systems who are committed to athenahealth’s vision for the future of healthcare. These advocates work with us to develop thought leadership content, discuss strategy, and share the impact athenahealth has had on their business. This program’s benefits include the chance to showcase their organization nationally and networking opportunities with other healthcare leaders.
